I know that no UEI remotes (maker of the DirecTV) have current Ortek codes because the JP1 community keeps a database, and it isn't there. I use an Ortek receiver like yours myself. While the RCA doesn't have Ortek codes either, it's cheap and can learn them (or you can load them from your PC using a JP1 cable as I do). If you get 6 of them, you should definitely get a JP1 cable for another $8
and do all the programming from your PC. The only thing they lack is RF. So if any of your DirecTV remotes are RF, you'll lose that capability. The code on the RCA for DirecTV is CBL 1377. In case you don't like the RCA (some don't), perhaps you should just get one to start.
