Hello all,

I have had a couple different Harmony remotes that have been very easy to program. I have been fighting with iRule for a couple of weeks now and am conflicted on which one to go with.

I don't love spending hours and hours designing the iRule handsets. The different handsets I have seen are definitely tempting though.

What are some opinions from folks that have experience with both and why did you decide to use the one that you did?

thanks

ed

Have you checked out Roomie? Less powerful from a graphical perspective than iRule, but a much faster learning curve. Hardware will be identical, so you can switch at a later point in time if needed.

I have roomie and it is easier and works well. I want a remote for the android platform though so my wife can use it. She is severely apple-phobic/anti-apple.

sorry I didn't clarify the platform earlier

Yup - Roomie on Android would be a nice combo!
