Hey, I'm offered either a Logitech® Harmony® Ultimate Remote or a URC -R40. My system includes HT with Yamaha A3030, 5.1 with seperate Sub Amp, zone2 Outdoor Screen with projector and 2 speakers, Zone3 2.1 rock speakers. Blue Ray, Cable Box.

I need stable RF with either Android phone or Ipad control.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Carl

The URC-R40 has no phone or iPad control, so that's out. Given your requirements, you don't need a remote at all, just iRule and a Global Cache gateway, assuming you don't want to deal with a bunch of separate apps for each device. Your projector and cable box probably don't have any apps available anyway. The Ultimate should also work fine, and the touch screen shouldn't bother you, since that's what you want.

Ah yes. The lost art of the obvious and brevity.
