Need a little help with Universal Remote MX780

My AV guy just finished my current setup a week or two ago. Since then, I upgraded my Comcast DVR box to their latest one (not an X1 box). The MX780 I was using can control the new DVR box but only via IR and not RF like the way it used to be. I got the CCP program to program the MX780 from my AV guy but am having trouble figuring out how to program the MX780 to control the DVR box via RF. If anyone can provide insight I would appreciate it.

Just heard back from my AV guy and the first thing he told me to check was to make sure the IR emitter was on the right spot on the cable box so I moved it but have yet to test it.

You cannot control the cable box via RF. RF is not universal and not learned. Your MX-780 speaks to your base station via RF (MRF-260, MRF-350) which then converts it to IR and routes that to the flashers connected to the base station. Your AV guy is on the spot with checking the IR flasher placement. Cable boxes can be finicky with placement and you may also have to adjust your number of repeats for commands to the box.

100% flasher placement. The only comcast boxes that use differing codes are X1 and DTA.
