How to make old IR blasters sticky again?

I don't really want to tape em onto my gear with black electrical tape...

Other safe and effective methods?

Suggestions?

Hot glue gun... or get some double sided tape (not the foam type).

I know my old Xantech mouse emitters (283M, IIRC) came with extra double-sided tape, micro-thin like the originals. I still have them somewhere...

Maybe you could contact them to see if they have any available to purchase? Or maybe try Parts Express or Monoprice?

still one of my favorite bumper stickers of all time...

GE clear Silicone Sealant. I have used this stuff for 14 years being in the electronics business.
A tiny drop right on the emitter, then use electrical tape to hold it down for a few hours. Done.
