Any advice on which remote to get ? I have been impressed by the MX-500 review on remotecentral.com, but i haven't seen a review for the Sony.
Price wise, they are close.
I would appreciate any comments.
thanks,

I checked out the Sony extensively at BB before ordering the MX 500, and IMO the Sony is not even in the same league as the MX 500. I can't tell you the specifics at this time since it was awhile ago, but I remember thinking that even my current VL 900 was better and it doesn't have an LCD screen. The feel of the 1000 seemed flimsier than the 900 as well, and the build quality of the MX500 is very solid.

Russ,
Thanks for your comments, i went ahead with the MX-500. Like you said, it does appear to be in a different league altogether.
thanks again.
