OARC05G & TCL teevee

I have a One for All Universal Remote Control by One For All http://a.co/cOzLLCQ
and a TCL LED TV.

I'm likely in the wrong thread, but I'm seeking either codes for the remote, or a source for a remote for the TV. And/or: What model universal remotes handle TCL's?

(Where *should* I be looking here?)

I picked up a GE #11695 Universal Remote at a hamfest Sunday. (Manufactured by Jasco, UPC: 0 308878 11695 4) It listed 12-odd TCL codes. It was $3.00.

Some codes do viewing functions, others do setup, but I've yet to find both. I stopped looking for the correct one because I unearthed the original: a TCL RC3000N02 remote. It works fine.....

Just noticed this thread. Your OAR would have worked fine since it is a JP1 remote and can load every possible command code for any device via PC. GE can't do that. Post back if you still want all the OAR codes for your TCL LE39FDH...

I'm always interested in learning.
Nothing I have seen on the OARC05G made me think it's programmable.
It is teachable, i.e. clone from other remote.
How do you connect it to a PC; what software programs it?

(I also picked up a Comcast-branded remote; it has a 4-pin header that likely programs it. Not sure who manufactured it...)

False alarm. It looks identical to the URC-7940 which can be plugged into a PC or Mac and programmed with Remote Master like other JP1 remotes. Yours has no such connection. But there are plenty that do.

The OARC05G can be taught the commands from TCL oem remote. To teach:

1. tv
2. press and hold SET for two blinks
3. enter code 975
4. pick a key to teach to and release
5. point the donor remote at the OARC05G press the key on donor remote until blinking lights on OFA remote goes out
6. repeat for other commands
7. once finished, press and hold SET key to lock in commands.
