If you got an old school Comcast Universal Remote(I bet half the US population does), they work much better than the little xr2 remotes if you want to do anything other than turn the TV on/off and change the volume. My daughter has a 32" Vizio in her room and she has the XR2 remote, we lost her Vizio remote ages ago and changing the input from the side of TV is huge pain in the ass so she can play her PS4. But with that old remote, that I remembered I had in the drawer after reading Kupakai's posts from 2007. That remote was always awesome and very user friendly.
I used Vizio code 11758 to pair it and then just push TV and then input and use the arrows and ok button to set it to HDMI2 to play her PS4 and that is easy enough for her to do by herself.
So thanks to Kupakai if he is still around and this forum for helping me solve a problem I have been living with for 14 months for no good reason.
