Ok, I have the 2.35 screen and anamorphic lens, I will have an XBOX one and PS4 and am open to PC gaming. For some reason I can't find good threads or info on gaming in 2.35 for a beginner.

Can you advise me on the path you would go down? I know the consoles don't have the right aspect ratio, but could I clip a little here with something (don't know how to do this) and stretch a little there (lens) and maintain an image that doesn't stretch things weird or cut off too much? And is there a rack mounted HTPC off the shelf I could use so I don't have to figure out a custom PC solution?

Any guidance appreciated, apologies if I missed the thread that relates.

I have a projector and anamorphic lens as well and loved playing Forza 4 in cockpit mode with a 2.35:1 screen. You will have some of the top and bottom cut off, but it's not that bad. You do get the rear view mirror cut off, but you can hear the cars coming up behind you if you have surround sound. I'm pretty sure you can get custom resolutions with a pc, but with a console I think your only option may be to buy an external scaler for custom resolutions. I just bought a new pc (old one died) and a logitech G27 and am looking forward to some racing goodness but I will definitely miss not having Forza.
