Hello guys,

I have read lots of reviews and forum threads regarding this question, but still I could not make up my mind, so I thought I would ask for help in a new thread:)

I am looking for TV (it does not matter, LED or Plazma) nor I am sammy or panny fan, I am just looking for a TV with >40 inch screen, best picture quality and good for gaming in a price range under 1100$. It is max for me, because I also want to buy a new gaming console.

I have not got xbox or ps4, neither I got a good TV before, I mostly computer guy:) I decided to buy both of them, so trying to find the best value for the money.

I also like to watch movies, so I will happily use my TV for these purposes.

So for me is mostly matter : 1) Picture Quality 2) Good Game experience 3) TV quality and durability 4) Other staff.

In conclusion : I would like to find best value TV with >40 inch screen and under 1100$.

For now, my options are : Panasonic P42ST60, Sony KDL 42W805 ,LG 42LA740S, Samsung UE46F6500.

Thank you and looking forward hearing from you.

If you have no problems with reflections on your gaming place i would strongly suggest a Samsung plasma such as the PN51F5500 model. Great image, great speed for gaming, excelent 3d, can be found by as little as $ 760, and 51' is a huuuuge step up for gaming.

Not that big but fantastic value! Bought mine for $300 and another for a friend off Newegg for $250 brand new. Excellent monitor. Sceptre has made monitors for almost 30 yrs. Heck you could get 3 and do surround gaming. I've had mine for 2 yrs. TigerDirect has 1 for $229 but I don't shop there...

If you have room, you can get this 60" Vizio for $700 (on sale) or $999 (regular price).

Vizio E601i-A3

I have it and it is well worth the money.
