iView Technical Support and anyone who can assist:

My iView 3300STB correctly scans the 62 cable channels, but gives me the dreaded "Invalid channel" issue when remote selects channels 35-62. Cable signal is good. My 9 year old Sony has no issues (except it has no record ability). Cable requires QAM tuner, by the way. Any ideas, workarounds? Any recommendations on a more robust product? Tech support is closed for the weekend, but am hoping someone here knows ...

Please be literal and simplistic for this 76 year old ... sigh ...

Any helps appreciated,

RND
