This was the first BD player I bought. It's very slow to boot up. Then it's slow to load. And if you have a disc in the drive when you turn it on, you have to wait until it's booted up and starting...
Pros Cons
  • 7.1 analog audio, bitstream audio, excellent picture quality
  • slow to boot up, slow to load, no streaming
This was the first BD player I bought. It's very slow to boot up. Then it's slow to load. And if you have a disc in the drive when you turn it on, you have to wait until it's booted up and starting to load the disc before you can eject it to play another. But once you have it running, the pic and audio are excellent. The remote isn't backlit, so I stuck it in a drawer and have used a Harmony universal remote. The audio quality from CDs over HDMI is every bit as good as my Denon $1500 universal player, and the analog audio is also first-rate.
