Who can speak Russian? This is the first 80.2 spec sheet I have seen,

http://www.integrators.ru/catalog/de..._ID=3126159#a3

For comparison, here is the new Euro Onkyo PR-SC5508 spec sheet.

At least we can confirm Audyssey XT32!

Quick question? I have no experience with the HQV Reon-VX chip, although I know that it has been around since 2006. Is this the same version that has been around for 4 years? How would it compare to the Anchor Bay 2015 in the new high end Denons? I don't really upscale DVD, just watch Blu-Ray and signal from DirectTV. I assume the Reon is more than adequate for deinterlacing 1081i

Man, sounds great but how I wish it was 11.2! Oh well, next year I'm sure.

Got mine on order. I am also hoping it will have apple airplay option added as that is pretty cool.

The thing I am most hoping happens is that integra releases an updated Rs232/IP protocol module for Crestron that allows me to stream pandora out of zone 2 and have it spit out data while doing it. All this with or without zone 1 ON. so basically I want to use the preamp as a pandora radio source that I can stream audio and data (song, artist, control) via RS232 while maybe zone 1 is not even turned on. That way I can use the unit to be my theater preamp (number one function), but also use it for music for other rooms with control in remote rooms without a display (bathrooms, patio, kitchen, etc.)

Here's to hoping

I have been waiting for this pre/pro to come out since I sold my Pioneer SC-09 in early July. The Onkyo PR-SC5508 looks very tempting, but issues with Onkyo QC have kept me focused on the Integra 80.2. I even purchased a DTA 70.1 amp in anticipation of getting it. Now I hear that Integra products recently released have the same issue with Audyssey XT32 as the new Onkyos. I have seen no ETA on a fix. I wonder if we will not hear any announcements on the 80.2 until after that is all worked out? Very disappointing indeed.

I'm sure they are built on the same assembly line, and use very similar firmware/software, so I would expect the same issues with both preamps.

ok, just ordered it from a dealer-friend of mine. I called a local dealer, and a non-salesman answered this morning indicating he actually owns the 80.1, as well as a few other guys in the store.

Anyway, can't wait to get this thing. I should have it mid-next week.

I bet the announcement will hit at CEDIA.

Do we know whether or not this unit WILL actually have the ability to update via the port? They say that every time a new unit comes out, but none have been able to update firmware via the Internet port to date....

Best,

Stieger

Your dealer actually got an ETA for the 80.2?

Placed a order yesterday, 1-2 weeks to delivery so it seems on line with the expected release date of late September.
