IMHO, best would be to convince wife not to move couch once Audyssey calibration is done! Unless otherwise you either need to rerun Audyssey every time couch is moved or get used to non-calibrated...

As any AVR your Marantz also has a Master Volume knob. This is what you can set to either "Absolute" (0-99) or "Relative" (dB) readings. Seems you have your AVR set to "Absolute".
