First I added the weatherstrip backing, the adhesive stuff....

The new challenge has now become setting everything up, and keeping the garage cleaned. It's a total PITA just to set up everything and wire it, move it- etc.. Everyone of these boxes is heavy...

It sounds like the sound signature Chop is after is fast bass, good control and damping factor. Like a good beer with no after taste versus one you taste for a week in your mouth after you swallow.

I would try the higher cross. Have you measured to see what's going on ? Usually it's room related, like you have or are sitting in a null. Goes back to the point I made earlier about crossovers...
