Congrats on the 150 system. I absolutely love mine.

In my experience with my 150's I used them in dipole on the sides and bought K-7s as my direct radiators in the back....

What I have done is split my LFE signal twice. One into a good quality "Y" cable then to another. This gave me 3 lines out.

I agree with 2. If you can handle the cost of another speaker it also allows you to upgrade to 7.1 later. No need to re-wire in the walls.
