Seems like 8 of those ported would be overkill, but I guess we like overkill around here. :D 8 would be cheaper if shipped on a pallet.

It's a shame you can't do your own crossover on those JBL's...

That question is probably best for the flat pack thread. But either way, I'm not 100% sure what the dimensions are because they are tweaked to fit the woofer listed. Best bet is to check what the...

See all those woofers lined up on the living room floor in my avatar? You missed the big JBL buy out thread by a couple years. I do have some of the 15" 16 ohm models left, but not 100% sure how...

I'm not so sure about that. Crossing lower might help on the 10" woofer, but it's also not as necessary with an 8" woofer. The Fusion-8 is a very nice speaker.

He's considering Quad-4's due to...

Eminence is only about 1.5 hours from me. I drove my dump truck there a few years ago to pick up pallets of the old MFW-15 subwoofers for the big group buy. :D I think I can fit 6 pallets in the...

The Deltalite is a great woofer with very low distortion. It has a curvilinear cone which was one thing I was hoping to use in the Fusion-15. The Cheap Thrills woofer cone also had that shape.

The close out midrange was pretty nice. I'm not sure what there is to gain by adding another 1db of sensitivity to the speakers. Wattage is pretty cheap these days.

There's no need to use the 360 on the V-8 or V-10 because the crossover point is high enough to where the larger compression driver brings nothing to the design. The DNA-150 is perfect for those...

There will be a new box design cut for those soon with a slightly bigger hole than the RS18. But yes, it's a quick fix to just sand the current one down a little bit for the Ultimax 18.
