FWIW I have four Denon's, three Yammies and one Onkyo setup in various locations... all work as well as when they were new, and all have their own peculiarities and quirks. Also, Fedex just dropped...

IIRC the M30, 40 and 60's all use 5" drivers, while the CS2 uses 6" drivers.

The M30 would however match the CS1, but that tends to be a weak center.

More speaker is always better. The Rti6's will indeed sound good, noticeably better than many other models or brands of bookshelf speakers. But they will not 'fill' a room of that size. If you...

I can vouch for that configuration. We use Rti6 for mains and Rti4's as surround with a Csi3 and a small 8" sub in the family room for TV and casual music and they are perfectly matched... also...

Note that in most BD players, setting downmix to off will indeed allow the AVR to decode the HD audio, but may interfere with any audio overlay when you are watching BD extras or PIP (if you see the...

It sounds like you are only getting a stereo signal to the AVR. The receiver can only decode what the source provides to it, from the DVD, BDP, game console or whatever. If the source outputs a DD or...

I've been considering the X4000 as my next upgrade, mainly for the 9.2 capabilities, and being more affordable than the 4250. But even the 150wpc of the 4250 falls short of the "recommended" 200wpc...
