For that distance you need 80" or more. And for sizes 60" and up - 4K starts making sense. Thus real choice is not between small 4K and large 1080, but rather between small 1080 and large 4K.

Did they offer tweeter raplacement or you have to pay for it? If latter, original tweeters are not cheap to justify the price. You could probably find used but fully functional pair for $800.

I do not think 7 speakers will fit in that room. So you should plan for 5 speakers setup (unless you want Atmos addition). For surround 685 s2 will likely be a good match.

802D2 was already at the top border of "reasonable" price range, with that 70% price hike it very well crosses that boder. Competitors will be happy to grab bigger share of market from B&W.

For room of that size I would avoid B&W speakers. they need more space to sound right. I would try Kef LS50 - it seems they are more forgiving in placement.

Make sure they are "D". There were earlier version of 803 - much cheaper. Onkyo will likely he OK, but better amplifier will bring some advantage.

They are 4 ohm speakers. At least their gen 1 versions were (I didn't yet see published measurements for gen 2). In my case 683 started sounding much better with 300W Onkyo than with 100W Denon...
