If you measure 10fl at the recommended distance for your projector let's say it's 14 feet,...

The only reason with using any molding around a screen is to make a "picture frame" around your screen, so you can fit your projected image directly on your screen material, if your doing 2.35:1...

When I had ordered my spandex material, I specifically requested it to be shipped on the roll, if you were to order any high end brand of screen material, they would not fold it.
