As far as I know they are the same projector, or very close. If its an OEM lamp yes its a good deal, make sure its not a generic or equivalent.

They were most likely bids, anything under $3000 with shipping is a good deal for brand new. Saw one from a private owner with $2500 opening bid in an unopened box, and no bids.
