So how do you know what the cable is worth if there aren't any testing or speed standards? Stick with cat6 and you'll be fine.

A lot of people don't realized the speeds that even cat5e can do.

In fact, we don't ever use shielded cat cable at all. Never had any problems with HDBaseT units.
