I really loved the analog sound from my Denon DVD-3930CI player going thru the T175, to my Parasound A51 amp, to my Monitor Audio Gold GS60 fronts. sweet! But my T175 is long gone

you're exactly right here, the RC-30's incorporate a 2.5-way configuration. The No. 1 (upper) woofer shares mid-range/mid-bass, the No. 2 (lower) woofer handles bass.
