Yes. The back panel IR sensor, when enabled, works just like the front panel IR sensor. No problem turning the player on that way even when Energy Efficient is set.

It should match the colors of the UHD disc played normally, not the regular Blu-ray disc. It may simply be that your display is not handling BT2020 color well.

There's no reason to hold off. You can roll back to the prior Official firmware if you decide you want to.

Personally, I'd recommend moving to the Public Beta 0215B firmware right now.
