I have a fully light controlled dedicated theater. Ceiling and front wall are black, as is the seating. Walls and floor are medium brown-ish.

I had a Marantz VP12S2 in there for quite some time...

There's a comparison chart on the Darbee web site that suggests the same. Seems to be all about the cosmetics with this update.
