Do you think it's louder than the 1100es when the 1100es is on high lamp, or on low lamp? My 1100es is all but silent on low lamp, but I can certainly hear it on high lamp when a movie soundtrack...

Okay, sure, but I don't recommend Open Range as a bass demo. It has bass, sure, but it's the high transients of the gunshots that are so impressive on a good system.
