I have a 2011 Sharp 70" edge lit (I think). Anyway the clouding/ghosting/blooming can be pretty bad. I know it's there if I look for it.

But I rarely if ever notice it when watching a good movie...

Skip the towers, get something like the Ascend Sierras or the NHT C3 with their matching centers if you need a center, throw the polk sub away (or use it in the garage) it will bring the whole system...

The ceiling facing drivers ARE the atmos speakers. If your AVR does not support Atmos or DTS-X then you have no way to hook this speaker (it is a separate speaker with its own set of binding posts)...
