Now I'm -not- defending Behringer for inflating power spec, but on second thought I actually think the 12000 is very much in line with what has bees seem from them earlier. The 6000 is rated to...

Thats why i suggest setting the receiver at -0db. I think its safe to assume it will then operate within its own limits and not clip the line outputs.

Yes, but only because you have the power amp turned all the way up. Right? Its no different than setting the volume at the half point on a commercial sub. Am I not making any sense here?

I dont have an inuke. It has attenuators (volume knob) right at the face plate like any other pro amp. Just turn those down and the receiver up. Maybe the gain can be lowered internally in the DSP, I...

Yes. Thats what I was trying to get at. Turn down the power amp 10db and turn up your receiver 10db to 0db. That way you will have a stronger signal and possibly less problems with noise...

Wouldn't that be 283Hz? There is one foot to the wall and one foot back again making the 1/2 wave length 2 feet and one wave length 4 feet.

The inukes only need 0.75 V so there shouldn't bee any need for for boosting the signal unless your Pioneer has an exceptionally weak sub output. Normally its better to have the amplification up...

For reference. Please confirm that it is 2700W into 2 ohm and not 2700W into two channels of unknown impedance?

Trouble is if it is limited to 100Vrms then it can deliver no more than 2500W into 4 ohms and half that into 8 Ohms. To me it sounds like a defective unit or a firmware bug.

Why would you believe that Fc is the cut off frequency of a highpass filter? I found the document and there is nothing in it about high pass filtering. It only talks about bass boost?

EDIT: Never...

Ill second what others have said. 23 or 24Hz looks good. If you can bump up the box to 2 cu ft that would also be nice. I think one 3" is too little. 23Hz and 3.5" in 2 cu ft gives me 27m/s at 300W...
