Well that's a bit of a bummer since the E has 30ms of lag.... unless it can muster up the low 17-19ms of input lag like the step up M series, it would of been my 'go to' but unfortunately it has poor...

I just want a great '1080p' 55" LED with super low input lag.

Rtings Motion performance test results between the E and M has shifted my interest back towards the E. The M's score pretty low, the trailing is noticeably worse. Maybe Rtings got it wrong with the...

Just a heads up, the 50" panel scored 40ms for input lag from LCDBuyingGuide.com.

If you want the lowest lag for the E series then you have to go for either the 55" or 60" which both scored...

Awesome, thanks a lot! hopefully 720p doesn't look soft. I'd hate to have to resort to the Vizio E instead which has twice the amount of input lag, isn't as bright, has weak screen uniformity AND the...

Well that's great to hear! But what about 720p content being upscaled to 4K? :p In my case, 720p(most Wii U games), 1080p for Bluray and PS4 and finally 480p with DVDs.

I guess the M's upscaling is quality stuff, especially in comparison to last years P series which made 1080p look soft. So you're saying though that the M can deliver an image just as crisp and clear...

So what do you guys think of the M's upscaling? Does 720p and 1080p content look worse being upscaled to 4k in comparison to being displayed in 1080p on the E? that's my main concern along with the...

Yeah, I'd imagine that 1080p on a 1080p native set. I con only imagine how 'soft' 720p content will look when upscaled to 4k. :p

Their 29.5ms input lag score doesn't apply to the 50" panel, only the 60" which they tested out.
CNET scored the 40" with 46ms(I'd avoid) the 55"(VA Panel) with 30ms(not bad!) and the 65" with an...

It's a such a shame that the M series is the one to have only 18ms of input lag when gaming, compared to its 1080p brother the 2015 E which is 29.5ms....Not bad, but not 'great' either.

It's a shame though about how 720p(which is what i'll be dealing with for a lot of WiiU & PS4 games) and even 1080p don't look as good being upscaled to 4k Vs a native 1080p set, because the M series...
