1) I did have an amp start to crackle in one of my 8080 towers. Was not a big deal...

HEADS UP:

Just confirmed with def tech support that the 8000 series are being phased out and an expected may launch time for a 9000 series. No literature available yet.

I ended up getting the Qnap TS-853a for 799 so...
