Computer skews slightly cool, but you can still pull things in. It hair won't be as accurate as Normal. If there is nothing to calibrate to/with, then the point is moot ;) this is especially the case...

The only way to know for sure is to put a meter on them and see if there is a big shift. Of course with the variations of encodes being done, it wouldn't surprise me to see wildly different results...

I'm guessing that the "mode" is the HDR mode (combined with DV). Of course I could be wrong (and hope to be). I would say use computer, calibrate to that and see if you can be happy (for now).
