Well, when you're at reference you're averaging 85dB with 105dB peaks on the mains (115dB for the LFE channel). My avr allows -81.5 to 18 dB range for the relative scale similar to the OP's Marantz....

That's a lightweight sub for a room that size, think your $ bang for the buck will be a better sub for a better experience.

Don't know what happened to the one mcode responded to but yes it is a networking avr of course (HT-RC370, similar to the TX-NR709 IIRC). vTuner is available for other devices as well.
