my 505 has powered outs only for the 2nd zone. don't know if they added this for the 506. you could use the tape loop, but then it wouldn't be a two source thing.

Well in browsing around the various AVCHD edit threads here it appears it is possible to burn in HD-DVD compatible format, but it requires a container swap to an mpeg-2 container to work on HD-DVD....
