I have a 5500 with a 133" 16:9 Dalite Cinemaision High Contrast, it has worked out pretty good so far.
As for my DVD player, I still have my 3 year old Sony non-progressive DVD player...

I have a Dish 6000 and 1080i and RGB works fine. Make sure you have selected 16:9 on the Dish 6000 HDTV setup menu.

1. I see a dark grey border w/ a purple tint when viewing 16:9, but not noticable since the picture is so bright. You can "fix" this by using a panamorph lens or masking if it bothers you....

I agree the HC Da-Mat (0.8 gain) is just too dark, and I would have returned that right away if thats what they sent. But the HCCV seems like a screen I could live with.
A filter might fix...

I tried out the small 6"x6" samples of of Dalite HCCV and normal CV last night, and the HC looked fine, though whites had a very very slight light blue tint compared to the non-HC CV...
