Well that there could of been part of the issue. It is important to get the distance setting correct between the sub and main speakers or else you will end up with a cancellation around the crossover...

I agree...the info I have seen out there suggests 2.-2.5db more output at 20hz in favor of the XV. However if you go off of driver displacement and power, it should be close.

Yes the PB13 has more output then the PC13 below 20hz...around 2db or so difference. I believe that is also true for the PC/PB12+ subs too.

A pair of SVS PB200's or PSA XV15SE would be ideal. If you can purchase a 1500.00 sub now then add another down the road I would go with a Rythmik FV15HP.
