Indeed... ISO files require a more advanced (file reader) parser. Most of which only support file access over SMB, not UPnP/DLNA.

It might also be worth mentioning that MakeMKV appears to mux Dolby TrueHD audio streams differently to MKVtoolNix, which can cause greater 'bit-streaming' issues (than MKVtoolNix) with the Oppo's ;)...

That's not too bad. The Oppo BDP-10x range of players transcodes DSD to PCM at 88.2KHz/24-bit. It's what Oppo recommends ;)

Have you tried spinning any SACD discs?
