At one point, I thought it was working fine, but the next day the issue with lens memory was back. I think it depends on the last time I used h shift and if it was last used going to the right or...

I got a B-Stock from AVS and have the same problem. It is definitely a defect because most owners do not have this issue. If you are using a 16x9 screen and no need for lens memory, then it's not a...

You can't see lag watching tv, he means for video games. It's the amount of time it takes for the game to react after you hit a button on the controller. The RS400 is known to have pretty terrible...

A lot of people don't like it and never use it. I might be in the minority for using it. If it bothers you, just turn it off and find a manual iris setting you like. I would suggest when you are...

I have the Dynamic Iris on and it doesn't bother me at all. That may be because I have been using an Epson 8700UB for years and always used the DI on that. The RS400 DI works much better, so for me...

If your ceiling is black, I think it would be fine to be that close to the screen. If it's white, then that might be an issue.

Well, size is relative. It's huge to me because my old house was so much smaller. My current room is 17 feet wide, 22 feet long. Which is roughly 5m wide, 7m long. Pretty much the same as yours.

I'm pretty sure the Carada bw is not actually 1.3 gain, despite their claim. Ask around on the forum, I believe it actually measures closer to 1.0.

Also, with a space that small and the...

I was using an Epson 8700UB for a few years. It looks great, but I've had my JVC RS400 for a month now, and it looks better in every way. No question. Don't trust Best Buy.

I use a 160" 2.35:1 screen. When zoomed out for scope movies, that is the equivalent of about a 169" 16:9 screen. I sit 15 feet from the screen. I can't see pixels and I don't even use the E shift....

2.40:1 films on a 2.35:1 screen

Just wondering how everyone here views 2.40:1 movies. Do you show them correctly with the small letterbox bars on top and bottom, or zoom out a little and crop the sides? I usually don't like the...

I use the peerless prg exa. Peerless mounts work fine, but you will need to buy longer m5 screws, and you need to flip the l brackets on the arms to the extended position. They hold 50 pounds.
