I was going to reply that it never work for Blu-Ray rips because the issue was it only looked at the video dimensions, not the file aspect ratio. The answer I always got was "you need to have...

If you're just playing back 1080p content to a 1080p display then you don't need nearly as much horsepower. I'm running MadVR on a $15 ATI 6450 just fine. Now if you're trying to upscale to 4K or...

No real reason, sometimes the main film is just a single .m2ts file and I just copy it instead since stripping out an audio channel doesn't really save that much space. I also used to own a Popcorn...

Yes, channel changes take longer because the way ServerWMC works is it re-muxes the .wtv file that WMC uses to a .ts file that Kodi can play. So when you change channels it has to switch and start...

Not sure why you'd want to use Kodi if not for it's interface? But IIRC there is a way to seamlessly launch WMC from Kodi, so you could do that.

+1

I've tried a few methods over the years (ReClock script, MPC-HC) but MadVR works most reliably for me. Even switches correctly when performing IVTC on films recorded off of cable at 29.97.

Since you mentioned your cable content is flagged copy freely, I'd highly recommend centralizing the WMC onto one system running ServerWMC and use the Kodi WMC pvr client elsewhere. I went to that...

Correct, the Kodi devs don't understand CIH (for Blu-Ray) so their stretch modes don't work like we want. You can set Kodi up to use MPC-HC as an external player, which will do the proper stretch....
