Blu-Ray discs and HDTV are supposed to both comply with the Rec.709 standard. BD is highly compliant but HDTV is all over the map with every provider, channel, and camera having some differences.

Run Advanced CM and see what you get. If Blue 75% needs adjusting goto Tools > Options > Calibration > Reference Gamut > 75% of Rec.709. Then go to the Color module and adjust Blue at 75%.

I've done a side by side comparison with a Panasonic 65VT60 (much deeper blacks than your 800u). On high contrast scenes with a lot of dark area the Vizio puts the VT60 to shame on the dark end....
