Denon is not what it used to be if you're asking for reliability. From my experiences with the newer AVR (post 2010) so far, at least it hasn't been. I still like the brand very much for its features...

Well, according to Pioneer and Panasonic they are. I just can't fathom a plasma TV from Samsung or LG. With that said, I still love my 42" Panasonic 'THX Certified' Plasma.
