I did list that as an advantage to the Epson. I listed the dynamic iris. At this point, I don't see 10.2 as an issue, but how is this a disadvantage to the Sony and not the Epson?

I agree. I don't really find any value in instant on and off, but the ability to turn off and on with out costing you lamp life is of value.

True, I have had LED projectors here and they are not instant on and off. You can turn them on and off like a TV, but still not instant. I am sure the Epson is the same.

Max width for a Da-Lite Cosmopolitan electric (not tab-tensioned) would be 110" diagonal. The housing would be 108" and you would be very limited on fabric choices. Stewart makes a smaller length...

You have to pick your priority and decide what you can give up. If you go with a 2.35 screen, you give up image size for 16:9 and image size for 4:3. If you go with a 16:9 screen, then you are giving...

All of the JVC's are brighter than 850. All of the Sony projectors are brighter than 850. I guess a lot of my RS4910 customers are not wanting reasonable sized screens. Often times they are wanting...

Cine4home listed 25% for the Epson. I remember reading the Sony 1100 had more loss than that. Something like 30% to 35%. Also can you show me a projector with 75% light loss in 3D? I don't recall...

If the projector does 1,100 calibrated lumens before DCI filter, then no way it is going to do 1,085 lumens with DCI filter in place. This is not a knock on the Epson. The quote of mine that you...
