I don't think I'd draw any firm conclusions from that pix. The camera or TV settings (torch mode?) could have impacted that quite a bit.

Further, many of us still watch considerable broadcast content which is almost all 16:9.

With such a minuscule amount of 21:9 content, why would people be concerned? I don't think most people want huge pillar boxes for 95% of the content. In fact I'd avoid a 21:9 display like the plague....

Chris, I think that's why many would like to move away from ANSI CR. It just doesn't seem to relate very well to what our eyes see with actual content.

The picture on those channels is pretty amazing. Keep in mind that on one channel, 9801, there is some stuttering and motion issues. Those don't seem to be present on 9800.
