True. The fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter. Transmission through the wall decreases as frequency increases, if for no other reason because power density drops by 3dB with each octave...

An algorithm was developed to analyze the low frequency signal in real time and limit the amount of bass that is physically reproduced. A proprietary psychoacoustic bass...

The problem with most in-walls is they're not in fully enclosed tuned cabinets. I'd only consider an in-wall that's in an actual full cabinet.

A firewall can be realized with staggered wood stud construction and fire-rated sheet rock. That also helps reduce sound transmission. By the same token floor joists that do not span from the floor...

It depends on the construction of the building. If it's steel reinforced concrete noise transmission will be minimal. If it's wood framed noise transmission can be considerable. You can achieve...

Flush mount book shelves are your best bet, as they tend to be of better quality than in-walls. The only caveat is that they not be rear ported.

That's because it's moot. Damping factor pales in comparison to the insertion losses from high cable resistance and inductance to the extent that is just doesn't matter, you'll never hear it.

Room gain increases as frequency decreases. In a perfect scenario it does so at a rate of 12dB/octave, but in practice 6 to 9dB/octave is more likely.

What you're referring to is so-called 'passive' bi-amping. It doesn't do anything useful. Do a search in the Speakers forum, this issue is addressed on an all too regular basis.

That depends on the size of your room. If it's 8x10 feet, probably. If it's 16x20 feet probably not. Buy one, if it's not enough buy another one.

There's a resemblance. They're hard to see but there's a pair of 5.25 inchers located part way back in the horn, similar to a Unity. But the circle of 5.25s at the horn terminus is totally different.

Losses at line level are far less than speaker level, so if you can it's better to have longer interconnects than speaker cables. In pro-sound where the mixing console is typically 100 to 150 feet...
