Same here, WLMB often decodes during summer tropo, but it is always glitchy (even with no thunderstorms in the area).

We know it can't stay on 19 with WKYC there. I assume it can't be on any channel occupied by Cleveland/Pittsburgh/maybe Erie. That doesn't leave very much.

Maybe they will end up on low-VHF?

The way the FCC's been moving channels around, I wouldn't assume WDTV and WLMB stay on 5 (one or both could even go off the air).

I agree on WYTV, they are almost certainly sharing with WKBN. 3 HD...

In that case, wouldn't it be a good thing if Sinclair bought WJW? They usually carry 3-4 subs on their stations.

Is that true, considering the DTV America station(s) cover like 6 streets in downtown Cleveland? How can they be considered to cover the market?

Maybe Tribune would unload WJW, but do you think Rev. Angley would sell WBNX?

On Sinclair's Columbus stations, they have GetTV, Grit, Antenna, This, Comet, and ASN (which I understand is shutting...

Could be, as I said I never really watch them and their signal comes and goes here.

It's been gone for a while though, at least several months.

It's been gone maybe a year. I don't watch WRLM but occasionally surf past it. They also used to have a classic TV sub that showed old public domain shows, but that's been gone for years.

I can...

Are Canadian stations being repacked below 36 everywhere in Canada or just in the US border region? (Probably a Trip question)

Bad news for WOIO if WPCW stays on 11, CFPL can't move to 11 then.

I doubt there's any other hi-VHF station that WOIO could move to. 11, 12, 13, and 9 are out because of WMFD and WTOV. 7 and 8 are...

Looks like nobody locally is going to low-VHF except the religious stations. If Ion sells, they probably all go off the air (and just become a cable network). The only other unknown is the Retro...

They had a couple of years, I think from 2009-2011 (before everything got frozen for this auction) to apply for a UHF. AFAIK, other than the Akron repeater, they did nothing.

Absolutely. They could have grabbed 31 when WJW left it in 2009. Raycom obviously didn't care.

I doubt CBS would want an O&O in a market the size of Cleveland.

Even if this happened, why do you think WOIO would go away? Also WUAB will also be occupying RF10.

If they didn't move them all around on the dial, then many many more stations would have had to go off the air or to VHF.

Remember that these digital assignments were made 20 years ago and put in...
