Both SC-91 and the successor LX-501 use 32 bit DACS, just different brands. Although all models have dual sub pre-outs, only the SC-95/LX-701 and higher models feature dual sub EQ.

Keep in mind, only 1.5 yrs warranty with a "refurb" Yamaha vs. 3 years warranty with a "new" Yamaha "A" unit so you may want to purchase an extended warranty.
