It doesn't seem to cause any problems for me at all. In Boston they have a channel 4 and 5 which are local and it works ok. Maybe if you are right near the transmitter their might be some reception...

Hmmm, I dont have any problems with 33. It always works great for me. Remember they are only at half power for now. The audio problem your having is with the station, not at your end.
