That sub - and any of the subs discussed earlier - will give you plenty of output and 20Hz (or lower)...

Not sure about reference at 12.5Hz. The back-right corner seems to have little to no gain, so the FR curve for the SS-18s alone drops fast below ~40Hz or so....

I think you could just re-use the existing plate and binding posts - just route the wiring from the driver directly to the posts (by-passing all the other electronics).
