Three 250w monoblock blades plus four 125w two channel blades would be a damn nice amp for a 7.x.4 Atmos setup.

It's not the DC. It's the high frequency crud that's generated at FULL POWER when the amp clips. The crud goes straight to the tweeter and "poof".

Don't count on repairing a window without access to both sides. Even if outside glazed, the glass is set into tape or adhesive that needs to be cut away from the inside.
