Well yes, but that's not EQ'ing them as sets. That's EQ'ing them all together as I said. The delay was an implied step I didn't explicitly mention.

You can use silicone, you just need to make sure to let it fully cure for a few days before installing the drivers. Latex caulk doesn't have that issue.
