Depends on how you look at it .... certainly not...

Depends on how you look at it .... certainly not for video quality but yes for HDCP 2.2. As already pointed out .. for 2014 there is no ideal solution.

9 and no. None of the 2014 models of any brand will have HDMI 2.0 (18Gbps)/HDCP 2.2 as the video chip doesn't exist yet.

You won't lose any speaker information. As I said, any unused speaker channels will simply be down mixed into however many speakers you have connected .. whether only 2 or 3.
